The Heart Attack Grill in essence stands for exactly what we Americans want, fatty fast food served up in ridiculously large portions by scantily clad women, but wait, there’s more! As if it wasn’t already awesome enough, the Heart Attack Grill has a hospital theme to it where your waitress is actually your nurse who is serving you, the patient. Rather than take your order, your nurse will write down your “prescription” and then wrap a tag on the patient’s wrist showing which foods they order and a “doctor” examines the “patients” with a stethoscope.

The menu offers up burger choices aptly named after the surgeries typically performed to treat heart attack patients. You can order a single, double, triple, or quadruple bypass burger, the last boasting a mind blowing 8,000 calories and has a whopping 16 slices of bacon! In addition to your heart attack inducing burger you can also gobble up their Flatliner french fries which are fried in pig fat (pure lard) and they offer Coke imported from Mexico containing real sugar. If it’s dessert you’re in the mood for you can try out one of their Butter-fat milkshakes made from butter fat cream. Lastly, fitting in with their hospital theme they also offer a full bar and shots are served in specialty syringes (how cool is that?!).

Another thing that makes this restaurant truly great and also helps it live up to its name is anyone weighing over 350 lbs eats for free. I’m tempted to pack on the pounds just to indulge in that kind of hospitality.
